Art direction for a local brewery.
Avon Brewing Company has grown leaps and bounds since starting their partnership with RAD Design in Spring of 2018. The initial project was to revamp their existing logo for apparel and merchandise. A linear logo was created, and we never looked back since. Art direction has included beer logos for labeling and branding, beer flight cards, social media graphics, menus, print advertising, and seasonal company logos for special occasions and events. Two more businesses were soon added to the “Family”’; ZZ’s Big Top and Medina Brewing Company.
After some restructuring, the client now has 4 locations. and a fresh rebrand, with website design. My deepest gratitude for the continued loyalty and support.
Beverage Logos
Let’s start the tour with the clients beverage logos. In the course of our relationship, I have created over 135 designs for this client. When we started, there was a serious play on words (the client is VERY creative in this sense), which made my design process that more fun!
We soon noticed that a consistent presentation, by location, was more impactful.
The Rebrand
With growth, meant a fresh face and a consistent brand image across all locations. Within a few rounds of edits, we landed on a hops character that has a strong resemblance to one of the owners and brew-master.
Vehicle wrap
Prior to our rebrand work, we collaboratively designed a vehicle wrap for the clients delivery van. With clean lines and a modern take on their original logo, we were able to create a cohesive 360 degree design.
